Grundofs hot water systems work by installing a comfort pump at the hot water heater and a comfort valve at the furthest faucet. Water is recirculated from the pump to the valve. When the water reaches a specified temperature, the comfort sensor shuts the pump off. As the water cools the sensor turns the pump back on, giving you continuous hot water.
