The solution to this problem is the Aquagate CX, a combination automatic shut-off valve and water damage prevention system. The Aquagate CX can be installed in homes, condominiums, and commercial buildings. The system works by sending a pulse every second to two stainless steel probes located at the bottom of each sensor and measuring the resistance. In the event of a leak, the resistance drops between the probes. The Aquagate CX detects this resistance and shuts the water off to the entire home, sounding an alarm, and thus keeping your home free of costly water damage.
